Set in a post apocalyptic world, we used musical underscoring and effects to create depth within the scenes and to accent moments of magic and heightened conspiracy.
Used to open the performance, this compilation of cannon fire, gunfire, sword battle, horses, and men yelling helped to set the mood of a world in combat.
A combination of Japanese drum and Philip Glass Instrumental music, this compilation was used to underscore Macbeth's asides and monologues during the production, giving a sense of foreboding to the character.
A combination of Japanese drum and Philip Glass Instrumental music, this compliation was used to underscore Banquo's monologue at Macbeth's palace, were he begins to suspect Macbeth of foul play.
A combination of drums and woodwinds, this fantasy style music separated the witches from the other characters in the production and helped imbue them with a mystical quality.
For the 3 Apparitions that appear to Macbeth, we used video projection. I was responsible for overdubbing the audio for the video. This entailed recording the actors we were using for the voices, and modifying the audio using a series of effects to give the ethereal, otherworldly quality we wanted from these characters. This involved adding echo and reverb, as well as overlaying the audio in a variety of different pitches.
